Connect Mobster's MCP server to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Desktop, opencode, Gemini CLI or Windsurf, and let your agent use an iPhone.

# Mobster in the agent you already use

mobster mcp is a local MCP server. Add it to your coding agent and the agent gets tools to read an iPhone’s screen, tap, type and swipe, on a simulator Mobster manages. Each page below has the exact setup for one client.

```
mobster mcp install --all
```

Sets up every agent on this Mac at once. Pick yours below for the exact steps.

- Anthropic Tested
  ## [Claude Code](https://mobster.dev/integrations/claude-code)
  Add Mobster's MCP server to Claude Code with one command, then let Claude check the iOS screens it writes on a simulator or use your iPhone over USB.
- OpenAI From the docs
  ## [Codex](https://mobster.dev/integrations/codex)
  Connect Mobster to OpenAI's Codex with codex mcp add, give it an AGENTS.md rule, and let it check your iOS app on a simulator with verdicts from assertions.
- Anysphere From the docs
  ## [Cursor](https://mobster.dev/integrations/cursor)
  Add Mobster to Cursor's mcp.json with the full path to the command, then let Cursor's agent check your iOS app's screens on a simulator Mobster manages.
- Microsoft From the docs
  ## [VS Code](https://mobster.dev/integrations/vs-code)
  Add Mobster's MCP server to VS Code for GitHub Copilot's agent mode, in the portable .mcp.json or .vscode/mcp.json, and check iOS screens on a simulator.
- Anthropic From the docs
  ## [Claude Desktop](https://mobster.dev/integrations/claude-desktop)
  Add Mobster to Claude Desktop's config file with an absolute path, restart the app, and let Claude read and tap through an iOS simulator or your iPhone.
- Google From the docs
  ## [Gemini CLI](https://mobster.dev/integrations/gemini-cli)
  Add Mobster to Gemini CLI with gemini mcp add at user scope, trust the folder, and let Gemini check your iOS app on a simulator with verdicts from assertions.
- opencode From the docs
  ## [opencode](https://mobster.dev/integrations/opencode)
  Add Mobster to opencode.json as a local MCP server with a one-array command, set a safe timeout, and let opencode check your iOS app on a simulator.
- Cognition From the docs
  ## [Windsurf (Devin Desktop)](https://mobster.dev/integrations/windsurf)
  Windsurf is now Devin Desktop, and its MCP config moved. Add Mobster for Cascade and Devin Local in one file, and let it check your iOS app on a simulator.

## Any other MCP client

Mobster speaks MCP over stdio, so any client that starts a local server can use it: the command is mobster and its one argument is mcp. Most clients take a block like this one. Use the full path from which mobster when the client is an app that doesn’t read your shell’s PATH.

The MCP reference

```
{  "mcpServers": {    "mobster": { "command": "mobster", "args": ["mcp"] }  }}
## MCP config file location by client
The file each client reads for local MCP servers on a Mac, and the command that adds Mobster to it, from each client’s own documentation as its page above cites it.
